2025 Danmarks Indsamling - small country, big heart

Millions of children in the world’s poorest countries are fighting to survive. Lack of food, water, and medical care makes their daily lives life-threatening. It is unbearable to witness, but if we turn our backs, the consequences could be catastrophic – that’s why we support Danmarks Indsamling 2025.

We support Danmarks Indsamling 2025 again

We are proud to announce that we are once again supporting Danmarks Indsamling, which takes place on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Through our contribution, we help make a tangible difference for children in some of the world's poorest countries, giving them a chance for a better future.

Danmarks Indsamling is a collaboration between 12 humanitarian organizations and DR, which since 2007 has raised funds for emergency aid and long-term development projects for the world's most vulnerable. In 2025, the focus is particularly on helping children in need in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Niger, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Yemen.

What do the donations go towards?

Children in these regions often live in extreme poverty, struggling with a lack of access to clean drinking water, healthcare, education, and basic nutrition. The funds from Danmarks Indsamling go towards:

Food and nutrition – combating hunger and malnutrition among children
Healthcare and medicine – providing access to medical care, vaccinations, and life-saving treatment
Education and schooling – building schools and providing educational materials
Protection of children – supporting orphans and vulnerable children in conflict areas

Supporting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals

By supporting Danmarks Indsamling, we are also contributing to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The fundraising efforts particularly align with the following goals:

Goal 1 – No Poverty: Helping the most vulnerable children and families
Goal 2 – Zero Hunger: Ensuring access to food and fighting malnutrition
Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-being: Improving healthcare for children in need
Goal 4 – Quality Education: Supporting school attendance for children who would otherwise miss out
Goal 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation: Ensuring access to clean drinking water and better hygiene

Last year, Danmarks Indsamling raised over 100 million DKK, and we hope that this year we can help raise even more. We encourage our employees, customers, and partners to support this important cause – whether through donations, local fundraising initiatives, or simply by spreading awareness.
