2026 Danmarks Indsamling – children in forgotten crises must not be forgotten

Not all crises make the news. But they exist – and the consequences affect children the most.
Danmarks Indsamling 2026 focuses on forgotten crises: long‑lasting conflicts, hunger disasters and humanitarian emergencies unfolding outside the media spotlight. Here, millions of children live without access to food, education and basic safety. Many die – far too many are forgotten.
Megatrade supports the campaign as part of our commitment to responsibility – and because we believe that professional expertise and business also entail shared responsibility.
“As a technical partner to Danish industry, we take responsibility where we can. That also applies beyond the factory floor. That is why we support Danmarks Indsamling 2026 and the fight for children in the world’s most overlooked crises,” says Susanne Dreisig Galtt, Managing Director of Megatrade A/S.
The campaign culminates in DR’s live show on Saturday, 31 January, but the work continues throughout the year. The funds support concrete projects in some of the world’s poorest countries, carried out by 12 Danish humanitarian organisations – and documented in collaboration with DR.
