Megatrade has high delivery reliability despite challenges in the supply chain

Many of our suppliers have fully covered production capacity and at the same time challenges with the delivery of raw materials, which means extended delivery times.

Megatrade buys up stock of many items and hopes that our customers will not experience delays to the same extent as we do ourselves. We see that our suppliers in both Europe and the rest of the world have these challenges, however in the next period there is a special challenge with goods from China.

The zero tolerance policy regarding COVID19 in China with associated hard shutdowns without warning presents challenges in logistics.

In addition, we are facing the Chinese New Year, which falls at the end of January - officially from January 21 to January 28, but in practice from January 16 to February 8.

We can expect that there will be a struggle to get space on cargo ships from China already from Christmas / New Year - so this is the very last chance to place orders if we are to get more shipped from China before the Chinese New Year.

Our sister company will do their utmost to get our orders in the port before they shut down in week 2, after that there will be about a 6 week break before the next shipment will depart.
