Results-oriented Key Account Manager with experience from the wind industry

Megatrade A/S is looking for a Key Account Manager with reference to the company's CCO.

Your responsibility is to maintain and expand our strong position within the sale of industrial components for the wind turbine industry.

The energy segment is strategically important to Megatrade, and as the energy transition accelerates, we have a fantastic opportunity to develop and expand our arrangement to both existing and new customers by bringing our innovative solutions to market.

Our vision is to be the industry leader in the sourcing of components. The rapidly growing wind energy segment is the primary focus for this particular role and therefore we are looking for a Key Account Manager to handle some of the world's leading players, as well as their subcontractors. The role naturally also includes outreach sales to other players within the wind industry.

We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven, professional KAM with solid experience in working with large accounts and with strong qualities to motivate and influence others within complex organisations. A solid technical background is a clear advantage in this role, as you will be active in driving product sales across the entire value chain within this segment.

Your proven experience in sales and/or business development of technical products and solutions will be crucial to taking our business to the next level.

Main Responsibility:

  • Key Account Management: You will act as the primary point of contact for our key customers in the wind industry. Your task will be to build trusted relationships within client organizations on a global scale, understand their requirements and deliver effective solutions to meet their needs.
     
  • Business development: You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities on; across the full value of these customers. Analyze the market, recognize trends and develop strategies to expand our product and service offerings to gain market share.
     
  • Sales strategy: In close cooperation with your colleagues in Development & Technic, Purchase, and Customer Service, you will develop sales strategies and plans to maximize revenue growth and customer satisfaction. You will identify market potentials, set goals and implement measures to achieve them.
     
  • Negotiations: You have the main responsibility for negotiations with your customers and for establishing global contracts, prices and terms, monitoring contract closure and ensuring that all agreed conditions are met. All relevant information and customer relations must of course be documented in the company's CRM system.
     
  • Customer satisfaction: Ensure that the products and services offered meet the customers' expectations and requirements. In case of problems, you will be the most important point of contact that ensures a quick and efficient solution for the customer.
     
  • Tenders and larger tender tasks: You have solid experience in preparing and responding to international tenders and, together with the rest of the team, can meet strict deadlines for responding.

Experience requirements:

Experience from the wind industry: Relevant experience, whether in sales, key account management or another related area. You have a solid understanding of the industry, its stakeholders and trends.

Sales Skills: You have a proven track record in building and maintaining business relationships and selling products and services. You have good negotiation and presentation skills.

Analytical thinking: You can analyze complex market and customer information and derive strategic decisions from it. You have a flair for numbers and can perform data-driven analyses.

Technical background: You have a solid understanding of technology and have good abilities to learn new knowledge. Flexibility: No two days are the same in a working week, and you must be ready to act both at our office in Hvidovre, but also have a number of physical customer visits, combined with online meetings with the customer's divisions on the global marketplace. It is important that you are able to create a deep understanding of global customer requirements, while at the same time developing a family relationship and atmosphere.

Team player: You enjoy working in a team and can collaborate effectively with different departments, which promotes a positive and collaborative work environment.

Language skills: Fluent Danish and English skills (oral and written) are required and German will be a significant advantage.
